After teaching high school psychology with the Student Assistance Counselor, Carole decided to leave teaching and secure a doctorate in psychology from Rutgers University. As part of her training she completed clinical experiences in general adult psychology, personality and cognitive assessment, and substance abuse treatment. While on an internship at Ancora State Hospital, Carole added a rotation in geriatrics, modeled on the APA requirements for specialization in the treatment of geriatric patients, in addition to general adult treatment and testing. Since graduation, Carole continued to work in these areas focusing on adult life issues, which include depression, anxiety, marital/partner and child concerns, and neuropsychological evaluations. Currently Carole is licensed as a practicing psychologist in the State of New Jersey and participates in several insurance panels.
